Poker is one of the best known and most popular card games, played at home,
in Las Vegas, and on the Internet. In Poker, players place bets into a "pot", and the player holding the best hand
at the end of betting wins the pot. During a round, a player may place a bet (raise),
call, or fold (surrender). Play continues until each participant has either called or folded.
Poker hands include: Straight Flush (5 cards of the same suit in sequence), Four Of A Kind (4 cards of the same rank),
Full House (3 cards of one rank, plus 2 of another), Flush (5 cards of the same suit), Straight (5 cards in sequence),
Three Of A Kind (3 cards of the same rank), Two Pair (2 cards of one rank, 2 cards of another), and One Pair (2 cards of one rank).
There are dozens of different poker variations, most of which are available online.
So pull up a chair, place your bets, and settle in for a friendly game or two. Who knows,
today might be your lucky day!
